| BOOKS AND TRAFFIC |
When I moved in to Pasig, the 2 hours travel time from our place to Intramuros due to "super heavy" traffic is a normal scenario. If there is one thing i hate most is to waste my time and I always find the traffic condition a total waste of time. My husband told me to sleep during travel hours but I have a difficulty sleeping in the public transportation. I was thinking of how to kill my time and i found reading as the ultimate solution. I began to enjoy reading. I am not ashamed to tell that I am not fond of reading before. Maybe that is the reason why i still have 20/20 vision because I am afraid to stress my eyes (well another reason is that i had an eye problem back then) and i find reading stressful to my eyes. hahaha.
Vin wanted me to acquire the habit of reading. He bought me a lot and it was appreciated. I enjoyed reading now for the following reasons: 1. I have more time for myself, work is not that stressful like before 2. its my ultimate escape to forget that damn traffic 3. It was my husband's influence on me and i thank him alot( well, i just hope he discontinue nagging me to read and to finish everything coz i really hate it when he's pushing me to read even if I am not in the mood.) 4. It is my own desire to read again. |
