Last May 5, Vin and I celebrated our birthday and we’re one year old. The week before our birthday is quite difficult for us as we experienced some shitty stuff at work and the usual couple’s fight. They say that trials were spices of happy marriage and true enough that we were able to handle it and had the chance to celebrate our birthday.

Vin and I went to Puerto Galera to celebrate our 1st year anniversary. Indeed it is the alternative Boracay getaway and at the same time a whole new experience. Vin is more familiar with the activities in Puerto because he visited the place thrice already. Well as for me, though its my second time, I am more excited now because when we went there with friends it is so unfortunate for us to be stranded because of the typhoon Dodong.

We left Manila early morning of May 3 and landed to Puerto lunchtime. We stayed at Whitebeach Resort. For the 3 days and 2 nights stay … we literally had a grand vacation spending time with each other, searching and ogling for beautiful people, drinking(where beer is twice of its actual price), eating (inihaw and kebab), swimming (as if we both know how to swim) and endless walking. Vin also had a chance to experience the banana boat ride, while I had my hair braided. Though the activities were so simple and ordinary, for us it is one of the most unforgettable experience because we enjoyed each other’s company and every minute is quite special and extraordinary…. Just the two of us.
